Damp and Condensation

It is important to know the difference between damp and condensation in order to know what action can be taken by yourselves to lessen the effects and causes. Condensation tends to appear on cold surfaces such as near windows which is why good ventilation is required. Damp however will have a tidal effect and is often due to a structural issue with water from the outside entering the property.

Smell Gas?

If you can smell gas in your property you must immediately shut off the gas by pulling the lever and ring the emergency number on the meter.

Locked out?

If you find yourself locked out of the property, you can contact the office on
0191 268 7433 during office Mon-Fri, 9am-5.30pm. If you are stranded outside of office hours, please call our emergency line on 07923 176 760 (emergency out of hours contact number only).

Blockages

If your drains are blocked, please try to unblock these yourselves first and foremost. If we do attend the property and find the blockage is due to wipe flushing or general abuse of the drainage system, we will have to invoice you.
